NKI Contribution towards Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) for the F.Y. 2022-23:

Pursuant to section 135 read with Companies (Corporate Social Responsibility Policy) Rules, 2014 and Schedule VII of the Companies Act, 2013, in the Financial Year 2022-23, NKI was required to contribute 2% of its Average Net Profit for the three immediately preceding Financial Years towards any of the CSR activities as specified under Schedule VII of the Act within 31st March 2023. Accordingly, NKI has made the above contribution in timely manner and successfully implemented the approved project, the brief details of which are as follows:

Activities under the approved project (Rural Development Project) Development of Water Storage Pond for Sustainability of Agro-Forestry, Construction of Cattle Shed for Stray Cows, Environment Protection & Plantation on bald hill, Construction of a view tower on top of the bald hill, Assistance for Women Empowerment, Installation of solar street light in village Govindapur and R.O. Water Purifier in 10 Nos. of Educational Institutions in Kamakhyanagar and Bhuban Block in Dhenkanal District, Odisha.
